Bawud Café Moalboal was founded in 2022 and officially opened its doors in 2023, right in the heart of bustling Panagsama Street. What began as a small, humble idea — a cozy coffee shop serving specialty brews by day and transforming into a laid-back cocktail spot by night — has now become a beloved island hangout. We started with just three passionate staff, and today, we’re a team of fourteen long-term members who’ve grown together like family. Each one plays a special role in bringing the warmth and energy that our guests love. Travelers and locals alike quickly fell in love with Bawud’s easygoing vibe, turning our little café into one of Moalboal’s favorite brunch spots. Our concept is inspired by the flavors of Aussie brekkie culture and the vibrant spirit of Balinese island living — a fusion that helped spark the shift in Panagsama from concrete minimalism to the colorful, tropical atmosphere it’s known for today.
